Québec City
How cool is this place! I had no idea such a treasure existed - Québec City. Its 400th anniversary is this year, and as such the place is booming with activities, fairs, art shows, street performances and much more. And what a beautiful place. Check out some snaps.
Took a long time to get up here, about 6.5 hours, but we're loving it - and the day is now ending. Five days yet to go. Looks like it will be awesome.
^ As we left the US via Vermont, it was lush and empty.
^ Then we hit the border. The guard was jittery and asked us to take off our sunglasses. We got through, though.
^ Then Canada - populated and the trees were replaced by farms and people.
Below - Then you can see how our first few hours in the city unfolded. Nice. And - consistent with the theme from a recent entry, it appears India is following us again. Look at the statue of Gandhiji!
