Many people....

..... here seems to have a gig of some sort or another. What a great attribute of a culture - showmanship. It has been a pleasure to see these shows on the street.

This has been an eye-opening trip largely because we have learned what a great place this city is. Its people are friendly, it's got a great spirit, and is beautiful.

Canada largely serves as a mystery to most Americans. We know it is there, and many of us have been there, but I sense there is so very much more to this place than we generally know. I have been to four Canadian provinces, and look forward to exploring more as our life together continues to unfold. Really a great country.



^ Here is something neat. As we were sitting on the window of our hotel, a group of singers walked by - belting out a tune in French. Turn the volume up for this one. They were clearly not a spontaneous group of singers, the quality was too high. Notice the different sections singing different parts - beautiful.
