It is incredibly hot here right now. I heard it is the hottest day since 1978 in India. The way to compute the Celsius system to the one we know as American is as follows:
(current temperature x 1.9) + 32
Today is 43 degrees Celsius. As such, it is 114 degrees, per US standards. And dry.
We can retreat into an air-conditioned environment. For those who live on the street, which is many people in India, it can be brutal. So far, I have read that 34 people have died in recent days. And that's only the people that they are counting.
Temperatures like this will not be missed.
