...of safety and order that is Whisper Valley. I went for a walk to see the beginnings of the Ganesh festival.
^ A group of boys in the field outside the gate were playing cricket. And a woman in full bhurqa was testing driving a scotter. She nailed about 5 rocks and tottered off at least twice. Not sure why she did not use the road.
^ One of the tents with a statue in it.
^ Another.
^ Down a small side street.
^ And yet another, with kids all over it.
^ Sorry, but if we have to live with it - I just must share it with you. A refuse pile with a huge dead rat next to it. Just look at that fella. He lives in a nation that is a huge buffet for him and his ilk. A veritable hulk.
^ Glimpses of the dwelling up on the boulders and cliffs above us.
^ And down the trail and back into WV. Neat little adventure. Next...... what happened during the *real* festival itself. It was.... colorful, to say the least.
