Microcosmic Church

We have, after a significant hiatus, started going to church again. It's one of the contemporary ones with a rock band and a relaxed setting, we enjoy it. And it seems to be a rule - whenever you go into church, you always find people who have family in Charlotte. It's uncanny. Met a young women whose parents just moved there.

So, "Pearl City Church" has people from all over the world, China, Australia, UK, America, India, and..... a significant number of Africans. So, I struck conversation up with a few of these guys - it appears Uganda is getting into outsourcing! Who knew?

With a recent and decent level of stability, as well as strong knowledge of proper English, Uganda is making a bid for outsourcing work, like call centers. They are sending their young people to India to learn the skills needed to come back to Uganda and make a difference in the development of the nation.

Wow!

It is indeed a small world after all.

More on Ugandan outsourcning.
