Still pretty excited about Bali

Writing to you from Mumbai.

We're very excited about our trip! This weekend starts the trip that will include a stop for the family. Above is a picture from Bali.

In the event this seems an excessive luxury in the midst of a global economic crisis, I can assure you it is actually not an extravagant expense at all. It's actually pretty inexpensive.

Off....

....to four days of business travel. Two days in Mumbai and two in Chennai. I am going to be managing an event with 1,200 people and am really looking forward to it.

Swim Gala

Aidan and Jionah had the ISH Swim Gala on Friday. Jonah is a natural in the water, and Aidan enjoys it a great deal. Here are some photos.

Aidan was funny. As his friends were getting their awards, he stood in the middle of the other kids and did a fake cry and kept saying, "They grow up so fast."

Congrats to my friends

Two individuals who work at the Bank here in India have become engaged to each other. They joined the Bank around the time that I came to India, so I have known each of them for a good while. I count them as friends. I have become increasingly busy at work, to the point that I don't connect with them as much as I once was able to. But I want to say congrats to both of them today on the blog. Congrats Rakesh and Asavari!

For the record....

...the rest of the day went great. The griping was a passing thing. 8)
